CHOSEN BELIEFS CAN WORK FOR OR AGAINST YOU
October 8, 2008 by Seth Manne
You may start to explore what you believe or know and say, how did I make these decisions or choices? How can I be sure that what I believe is really true? It has been true for you up until this moment and will continue to be true for you until you decide to believe something else.
Does what you believe and know work to your best benefit, If it does not, why then do you believe it to be true? You may look at this method, this process, this natural law of manifestation and say ….that is not true….that will not work for me….and…Bingo…it won’t. What have you proven? Are you better off believing that nothing will ever work for you to get you what you want or that something might work for you?
Each time you choose and decide to believe something about life and then see proof of your belief in the exterior world it helps to strengthen the belief and becomes something that you start to “know” because you now see what you believe to be “proof”. You can also look at other people and see, what you think is even further proof of what you have believed and now come to know.
If you are a pessimist, cynic or skeptic who believes that life sucks….you see “proof” of that in your life and you look at other people in apparently dismal circumstances and say, “there, see, that is even further proof that what I know is true about life”. You may meet a perfectly happy, healthy multimillionaire who is madly in love and you will say, “He is miserable, his life is precarious and he doesn’t even know how life really sucks… he’s just kidding himself”. You do not stop to see that he knows what he knows and you know what you know.
